Family Hockey Night!!!

Last night we surprised the kids by taking them to a hockey game!  All week long we were telling them that we would do something fun, give them a few vague hints but not tell them what we were doing.

When we walked in the arena (stadium?  ice-rink?)  Jared's face lite up with excitement ..I think Nora was stunned...Ryan is a baby and didn't care.  It is a small enough arena that any seat really would be a good one so we were pleased.  The tickets came with a hot dog dinner!  And amazingly enough the hot dogs were tasty (so tasty that Nora ate two...which come to find out is way too much for her tiny tummy)

Ryan was fin for 2 of the 3 periods and then we headed out early...Jared and Nora would have been happy to stay for the last.  It was a great night for our little family to spend time together...something we will do next year.

 Nora was nervous about it all at first.  It was really noisy, dark and new.  A picture wasn't what she was wanting...funny girl.  

After her first hot dog and getting used to everything we got a smile out of her.
