Happy New Year!

Can you believe 2010 is just about ready to be over? I certainly can't. It's true what they always told me in high school. Time flies as you get older. I think that's because the way you spend you time is so much better the older you get. For example this year we have spent our time by:

• growing older (duh) but this is a big deal to a couple of kids who turned 4 and 2 this year.
• graduated from College! (Angela)
• applied to an MBA program (Dave)
• plenty of craft projects...on of which caused my thumb to go numb for about a month!
• had lots of fun taking walks to and from the park
• donated my hair
• Put Nora in a big girl bed
• Jared Cut a chunk out of Nora's (thankfully it was in the back)
• Nora is in a big girl bed!
• we got three pet fish
• Broke up a few fights
• we had 3 fish funerals
• went on trips to see family
• though my dish washing was broken...it wasn't I was just using bad soup
• went camping as a family!
• read ALOT
• took a cake decorating class
• picked up a few new hobbies like fly fishing (Dave)
• bought a hand gun (Dave)
• realized my dishwasher actually is broken
• got a second job (Dave)
• watched my kids become best friends and enemies and best friends again all in a matter of minutes
• accepted into MBA program
• family came to see us!
• changed some diapers

do you really want me to keep going? cause I could.

It has been a great year. Sure, hard things have come our way and forced us to change our plans or do things differently. But in the end, life is good. No matter what comes we are a family that has been blessed over and over in 2010.
