SPENCER!
Yesterday Spencer competed in the 2008 Sonatina/Sonata Festival. He is such a great piano player to begin with, but does such an awesome job when performing. Later in the afternoon he called to let us know how he did. We were so excited when he said that he was in the TOP TWO of his level. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Later last night he returned to play in a recital that would be judged by some extremely accomplished pianists. He played Sonatine in F Major, Allegro vivo. We were able to go and support him this time. He did an AWESOME job. And so did the judges...
SPENCER WON FIRST PLACE! We are so proud of him.

My hubby Spencer got very excited when he glanced at the computer and saw this post. I had to explain to him that there are many talented Spencers in this family now!! LOL.

gee thanks Hiedi, but lets be honest there is NO WAY I could ever win at a piano contest where I have to play in front of someone else...maybe a jello eating contest.
